Services & Modalities

Integrative, evidence-based psychological treatment tailored entirely to your unique neurobiology and lived experience.

How We Treat

Our Clinical Modalities

We do not believe in a "cookie-cutter" approach to mental health. Every single person possesses a completely unique emotional fingerprint. Therefore, we utilize an Integrative Approach, blending several evidence-based methodologies to create a treatment plan that actually works for you.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a highly practical, goal-oriented form of therapy. It operates on the principle that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are deeply interconnected. By identifying and challenging deeply ingrained negative thought patterns, we can actively change how we feel and how we respond to stressful situations in real-time. This is highly effective for Anxiety, Panic, and Depression.

Person-Centred Therapy

This humanistic approach places you entirely in the driver's seat. It relies on the therapist providing radical empathy, unconditional positive regard, and absolute genuineness. We believe that you already possess the inner resources needed for growth; our job is simply to provide the safe, non-judgmental environment required to unlock them.

Mindfulness-Based Interventions

Drawing from Eastern traditions but backed by rigorous Western neuroscience, mindfulness techniques teach you how to ground yourself in the present moment. Rather than fighting your thoughts, you learn to observe them without judgment, dramatically reducing emotional reactivity and chronic stress.

What We Treat

Specialized Areas of Focus

While we treat a wide variety of psychological presentations, we have specific clinical expertise in the following key areas.

Depression

CBT for depression focuses on breaking the cycle of negative thoughts and low mood. Together, we explore unhelpful thinking patterns and build practical strategies—like activity scheduling and problem‑solving—to restore motivation and joy in daily life.

Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD)

With GAD, worries can feel constant and overwhelming. CBT helps you challenge anxious predictions, learn calming techniques, and develop healthier ways to respond to uncertainty, so everyday life feels more manageable.

Social Anxiety

CBT for social anxiety combines gentle exposure with tools to reframe self‑critical thoughts. You'll learn how to approach social situations with more confidence, reduce avoidance, and build authentic connections.

OCD & Phobias

For OCD and phobias, CBT uses structured exposure and response prevention. This means gradually facing fears in a safe way while resisting compulsions or avoidance, helping you regain control and freedom.

Emotional Dysregulation

When emotions feel overwhelming, CBT provides skills to notice triggers, pause before reacting, and choose healthier coping strategies. Techniques from DBT and mindfulness are often integrated to support balance and resilience.

Health Anxiety

CBT for health anxiety helps you break the cycle of constant worry about your physical wellbeing. By addressing unhelpful thoughts, reducing body checking, and building tolerance for uncertainty, therapy supports you in reclaiming your life from medical fears.

PTSD & Trauma

Trauma can leave a lasting imprint on both the mind and body. Trauma-focused CBT helps you process painful memories safely, reducing flashbacks and hyper-vigilance, and helping you move forward with a sense of safety and empowerment.

Panic Disorder

Living with panic disorder can feel exhausting and terrifying. CBT helps you understand the cycle of panic, safely test catastrophic beliefs about your physical sensations, and reclaim your confidence in situations you previously avoided.

ADHD & Autism

Navigating a neurotypical world can be challenging. Therapy offers a neurodiversity-affirming space to develop executive functioning strategies, manage sensory overwhelm, and build self-compassion, tailored specifically for both children and adults.

The Timeline

The Therapeutic Journey

Therapy is a structured, purposeful process. Here is exactly what you can expect as you progress through treatment with us.

Phase 1: Assessment

Sessions 1 - 2

The initial phase is all about information gathering and relationship building. We will take a comprehensive history, explore your current symptoms, and clearly define what "success" in therapy looks like for you. You will also get a feel for our style to ensure we are the right fit.

Phase 2: Active Treatment

Sessions 3 - 10+

This is the core "work" phase. Depending on your goals, we will actively challenge negative thought patterns, process difficult emotions, or teach you new coping mechanisms. Sessions will be highly collaborative, often involving practical exercises or reflections to complete between appointments.

Phase 3: Consolidation

Final Sessions

As you begin to feel better and consistently meet your goals, we will focus on relapse prevention. We will review the tools you have learned, ensure you feel confident using them independently, and carefully plan the ending of our therapeutic relationship to ensure long-term success.

Is Therapy Right For You?

You do not need to be in a total crisis to benefit from therapy. Consider reaching out if you have recently experienced any of the following:

  • You feel a persistent, lingering sense of sadness, emptiness, or "numbness" that won't lift.
  • Your anxiety or overthinking is beginning to interfere with your sleep, work performance, or relationships.
  • You are turning to unhealthy coping mechanisms (alcohol, overeating, doom-scrolling) to numb your emotions.
  • You feel trapped in repeating negative patterns in your romantic relationships or friendships.
  • You simply feel overwhelmed by life and need a completely confidential, neutral sounding board.

Take the first step.

We provide a safe, non-judgmental environment to explore your challenges. Register as a new patient today.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

The first session is an assessment. We will discuss your background, what brings you to therapy, and establish what you hope to achieve. It is also an opportunity to see if we are a good fit to work together without any obligation.

Everything you share in our sessions is strictly confidential. The only time I would ever need to break confidentiality is if there is a significant concern for your safety or the safety of others—for example, if you are at risk of serious harm, or if a child or vulnerable adult is unsafe. In these rare situations, I would only share information with the appropriate professionals to ensure safety, and I would always aim to discuss this with you beforehand. Beyond these essential safeguarding exceptions, your sessions are entirely private.

Each therapy session lasts for exactly 50 minutes. We typically meet on a weekly basis at the same agreed time to build consistency and momentum in our work.

Yes, we offer secure, encrypted video sessions for clients across the UK who prefer to engage in therapy from the comfort of their own home.
